Q: Tell me about your business practices.
A: I work primarily with dead media and use salvaged materials when possible. All components (knobs, switches, etc) are brand new straight from the Shenzhen. I use lead-fee solder on any and all external components and things you may touch. All orders are packaged with recycled packing materials.
Q: How long will it take for my item to arrive?
A: This varies. I try and provide an indication on the page for each item.
Q: My country uses the PAL standard and not NTSC. Will your video fx units work for me?
A: My devices are only capable of processing NTSC unless otherwise noted. But fear not! I swear by a cheap (20 EU – 35EU) PAL to NTSC adaptor with good results. They are tiny, compact and can be used at the beginning of the chain to convert your PAL cameras, DVD players or VCRs to work with NTSC circuit bent gear.
Q: I use 220v wall power. Will your video fx units work for me?
A: You will need a step-up/step-down conversion unit that provides a steady flow of 110v. Luckily these things don’t cost much once again (25EU – 50EU). I bought a used one for $25 bucks and it has lasted me over ten years now. I don’t commonly work on 220v gear.
Q: What kind of video inputs and outputs do your devices have?
A: Common composite video (RCA & SVHS). Lo-res goodness.
Q: The site didn’t answer my questions….
A: Hit me up, I am happy to chat!
